I don't know which package causes this problem, so I attached it to
xfonts-base.

  Fonts are missing after upgrade to 16.04

Bug description:
  When I tried an upgrade to 16.04 some of the fonts are not displayed
  any more. I am using GNome and cannot remember of setting some special
  fonts to be used. The attached picture shows how the applications look
  like after the upgrade to 16.04 from 15.10.
