I'd like to get support for the MFC-7360N added (dowloadable info here: http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public_s/id/linux/en/)
Should I open another bug? Or would solution to this bug take care of the problem? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to jockey in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/234822 Title: Detect and install Brother printers Status in “jockey” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “system-config-printer” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: brother-cups-wrapper-* and brother-lpr-drivers-* packages are in the multiverse repositories since Hardy but they still need to be installed manually and a lot of people does not even know that they exist. I would like to suggest jockey to detect Brother printers and give the possibility to install these packages like any other restricted driver. This would really make ubuntu easier for owners of Brother printers which have very ugly drivers from Brother.
