Scrolling and switching between windows have become noticably slower. Probably this happened after I wrote and tested several Java GUI applications, but closing all of the GUI applications doesn't reduce the memory usage. I am using the default intel graphics driver. I have nvidia but didn't use it. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS Release: 12.04 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: xserver-xorg-core-lts-trusty 2:1.15.1-0ubuntu2~precise4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.13.0-40.69~precise1-generic 3.13.11.10 Uname: Linux 3.13.0-40-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu17.8 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sun Dec 28 14:50:23 2014 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/Xorg InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 12.04.5 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Release amd64 (20140807.1) MarkForUpload: True ProcEnviron: TERM=linux PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SourcePackage: xorg-server-lts-trusty UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1406057/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
