I got this error message after trying to install new version of kernel
4.4.8-040408-generic. I was trying to update the kernel to newest
version (from 4.4.0) after experiencing computer freeze when attaching a
second screen. After searching I found that an update of the kernel
could solve this problem, but unfortunately the install of the new
kernel caused the following error message:

nvidia-361 361.42-0ubuntu2: nvidia-361 kernel module failed to build

At a loss what to do next...
