Install kolourpaint and try to launch it from its details page:

on apt: no such desktop file: kolourpaint.desktop
(gnome-software:8680): Gs-WARNING **: failed to launch GsApp: no
plugin could handle gs_plugin_launch
The desktop file is located here:
/usr/share/applications/kde4/kolourpaint.desktop
