New Finding: This bug happens only when I use the Chinese input method. The input method is called ibus-Chewing.

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: When I rename in nautilus, the file name (not including extension name) will be cleared automatically. It is counter-productive when I want do make minor change to the file name, for example pluralizing. Unfortunately this case is one big use case.
