This also affects me on ubuntu 11.10. I added a crash file for seahorse. I did exactly the same: in seahorse I went to "sync and publish keys"->"key servers"->"add"->"custom". I selected custom since only ldap and custom are listed, not hpk or http. When I select custom from the dropdown, seahorse stops with a segmentation fault. The machine with the problem is running ubuntu 11.10 desktop, with a 3.0.0-12-generic kernel. It was installed two weeks ago with a fresh ubuntu install. ** Attachment added: "_usr_bin_seahorse.1000.crash" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/seahorse/+bug/878071/+attachment/2589177/+files/_usr_bin_seahorse.1000.crash ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 845449 seahorse crashed with SIGSEGV in on_prefs_add_keyserver_uri_changed() -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to seahorse in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/878071 Title: Seahorse Crashes on adding custom Key Server Type Status in “seahorse” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: I use ubuntu 11.10 and when I tried to import my key to a key server this is what happened : 1.
