Public bug reported:

Hi every one, my touch pad doesn't work at all, and if I add "modprove
-r psmouse" and "modprove psmouse proto=imps" to my /etc/rc.local, it
works but not properly. I mean, I can use simple movement, clicks etc...
but if I try to scroll down (eg: in a long scrolled web page) it hardly
scroll a bit, but is not enough to reach not even the middle of the
scroll.

I give you some details in my logs just to check what did you change in
synaptic driver to make it work as bad as it works.

Thank you in advance.

Title:
  touchpad doesn't scroll 2 fingers

Status in xserver-xorg-input-synaptics package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Hi every one, my touch pad doesn't work at all, and if I add "modprove
-r psmouse" and "modprove psmouse proto=imps" to my /etc/rc.local, it
works but not properly. I mean, I can use simple movement, clicks
etc... but if I try to scroll down (eg: in a long scrolled web page)
it hardly scroll a bit, but is not enough to reach not even the middle
  of the scroll.

I give you some details in my logs just to check what did you change
in synaptic driver to make it work as bad as it works.

  Thank you in advance.
