I had never experienced this bug before until now, on 16.04 and Gnome 3. Every time I suspend the computer i get start in 'checking' when I try to log in back again.

Instead, it just hangs on "Checking..." forever until I manually kill gnome-screensaver. This is on a Lenovo Ideapad, with Ubuntu 10.10 i386. None of the issues listed here (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingScreenLocking) apply to me.
