Title:
  When I install any .deb package it gives me "the file is not
  supported"

Status in gnome-software package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:

  When I double click .deb package gnome-software starts but it gives: The file 
is not supported.
  When I run in terminal it also gives me an error.
  I can install the package if I run sudo apt install 
./Downloads/nameofpackage.deb
