It's not a hardware problem cause I have a Windows XP in dual boot and in Win sound card works good without any exception. The sound stop works ever when I use any program and stop works if I do nothing probably ten minutes after logon. I attach a output of command: $ cat /var/log/syslog |grep pulseaudio I am sorry to say that syslog contain some Czech words… E.g. the first sentence means in English: snd_pcm_avail() navrátil hodnotu, která je nezvykle vysoká: 4294963992 bajtů (24347868 ms). snd_pcm_avail() return a value that is exceptionally large: 4294963992 bytes (24347868 ms).
