Title: Update gnome-desktop3 to 3.24.2 Status in gnome-desktop3 package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in gnome-desktop3 source package in Zesty: Fix Committed Bug description: Impact ------ The only purpose of this update is to update the reported GNOME version number to 3.24.2. Since this is the last scheduled project-wide point release for GNOME 3.24, this should be the last update like this for Ubuntu 17.04. https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-desktop/log?h=gnome-3-24 Test Case --------- Install gnome-recipes (this version is a very large download; it will be a smaller download in 17.10) Open the Recipes app. In the top bar, click the Recipes app menu and select About. Switch to the System tab. The Desktop should say "GNOME 3.24.2". Regression Potential -------------------- There shouldn't really be a regression here.
