Title:
unity-2d display custom icons in launcher, but not for ALT+TAB

Status in unity-2d package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  To recreate,

  1) Login to unity *3D*
  2) Create a .desktop file for your application in
~/.local/share/applications/foo.desktop, specifying a valid 'Icon=' key.
  3) Run your application
  4) Observe that the icon is displayed in the launcher.
  5) Observe that the icon is displayed when you type ALT+Tab.
  6) Switch to unity *2D*.
  7) Observe the icon is correctly displayed in the launcher.
  8) PROBLEM: observe that the icon is NOT displayed when you ALT+Tab.

In unity-2d, ALT+Tab shows the default/broken icon symbol (black
square with red circle with line through it).
