Well I just got the same error. How it happens is a little bit different. I was browsing since around 2 hours with no issue, after boot. Then suddenly a few websites became laggy and then crash... Core file will not be generated. When I open Chromium with a temporary profile, the window opens, but as soon as I enter "No thanks" to the option of signing in with Google, it crashes as above.
