Title:
[System Product Name, VIA VT1708S, Green Headphone Out, Front]
  Pulseaudio fails to detect card

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I think this is a very common bug, but since I am new to Ubuntu, I am
reporting it so I can get the sound to work here.

My main soundcard is the onboard one. It's the one where I plug all my
sound devices and I'd like for someone to tell me what do do so I can
turn the other sound cards "OFF" so ubuntu can detect only one while
  on BOOT.
