Title:
audio settings dont allow selecting profile for bluetooth speakers

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Testing Ubuntu 17.10 daily amd64 encrypted home.

On previous versions of Ubuntu (eg. 16.04) in the audio settings when
selecting a bluetooth speaker a profile (HSP or A2DP) could be
selected. I connected my bluetooth speaker it shows up in the audio
settings, i selected the bluetooth speaker as output but every sound
still comes from built in laptop speakers not from the bluetooth ones.

  from syslog:
"pulseaudio[5109]: [pulseaudio] module-bluez5-device.c: Default profile not
connected, selecting off profile"
"pulseaudio[1525]: [pulseaudio] module-bluez5-device.c: Refused to switch
profile to headset_head_unit: Not connected"
