Title: gedit - button to become root (feature request) Status in gedit: Confirmed Status in gedit package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Binary package hint: gedit it would be a nice feature if one could become root while gedit already runs. it is annoying to have to exit gedit and start it again with gksudo gedit.
