HPO, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. Please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal: apport-collect 891522 When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.
As well, please attach all relevant information requested in: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems#Capturing_print_job_data ** Package changed: libreoffice (Ubuntu) => cups (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: cups (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/891522 Title: Forms printed with Printer Language PDF get mangled Status in “cups” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Printing a libreoffice document containing form elements (checkboxes etc.) get superimposed with additional text: e.g. 'Checkbox' besides a checkbox etc. Switching 'Printer Language Type' to PostScript solves that - that setting is, however, not saved and has to be manually re-done everytime. I suppose there is a difference in that 'postscript' does not really contain a checkbox but its visual representation and 'pdf' does actually contain a checkbox? I use oneiric libreoffice, all updated: Libreoffice 3.4.3 (OOO340m1, Build 302) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/891522/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
