In Ubuntu 17.10 beta, Cheese does not provide an image from the camera
nor does it offer to attach to it in the prefs settings.

Machine: Macbook Pro Retina 13" with a Facetime HD (Broadcom 1570) PCIe camera.
Hardware works under macOS -> Seems software or driver issue.

On a similar Macbook the image comes up immediately (with a Facetime HD
camera attached to USB)
