Title: In Xubuntu totem doesn't play sound in some videos Status in “gstreamer0.10” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: In Xubuntu totem fails to play sound in some avi and mkv files. VLC plays sound in this files just fine. Sometimes the sound is just absent, sometimes I can hear only the noise. The problem is quite random - the same file may work one day and dosn't work few hours later. If I opening it several times it may start working after few attempts (or not). Probably this is the same problem as #267441. Unfortunately I have no idea how to provide details, which may help to localize the problem.
