Re: hyperair => wontfix: It is, in fact, a fairly minor cosmetic quibble. One that can none-the-less impact user experience. It also appears to be very simple to fix. (hell, I could probably fix it myself if I had a clue. Depends on how Banshee was written.) Hence, filed in papercuts :)
According to the bugfix report (above?) it's already been fixed, though. The very fact that I haven't bothered to find out if it actually was fixed probably proves your point. But this could very well prove irrelevant. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to banshee in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/864838 Title: Banshee share access error message Status in Banshee Music Player: Fix Released Status in One Hundred Paper Cuts: Fix Released Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in “banshee” source package in Oneiric: Fix Released Status in “banshee” source package in Precise: Fix Released Bug description: In Banshee, when a user tries to access an iTunes share from a version of itunes newer than 7, it displays an error message because it cannot decrypt the share. This is good. However, the error message says that Banshee cannot access the share because it's from iTunes 7, and this is now technically incorrect, as the issue holds true over several newer versions of iTunes. Rather than say "iTunes 7", then, Banshee should say "iTunes 7 or newer".
