Sorry for the delay. I'll try to submit the bug upstream. About apport, it just crashes. No error visible on the console. I'll check about the mconnect extension. I'll disable it and see if the crashes continue.

I have seen this behavior particularly when Spotify emits a notification for example when starting playback of a playlist or changing songs. The shell recovers itself and no other problems are evident afterwards, but it is very annoying. It seems that once the crash happens it will not repeat until another session is started (after restarting the PC, for example). But it doesn't always happens on the first notification emmited on the session. I manually attach the crash dump, because ubuntu-bug and apport-cli both crashes when trying to submit this bug.
