Status in libgweather: Won't Fix Status in libgweather package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Binary package hint: gnome-applets The weather applet, when set to use the Beaufort scale, should at least have an option to present descriptions instead of numbers. Descriptions may be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beaufort_scale#The_modern_scale (accessed June 23, 2008, permalink: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Beaufort_scale&oldid=220195075): look in the table under the "Description" column. To reproduce: 1. set the weather applet to use the Beaufort scale: right click on it and choose preferences, from there set the wind speed unit 2. view the weather (you may have to hit update to see it using the Beaufort scale).
