  sd_espeak-ng crashed with SIGABRT in pa_stream_get_state()

  After rebooting my machine, apport popped up and told me that the
  espeak-ng module crashed. Speech appeared to be working normally
  though. The machine is a VM in Virtualbox, running on an Ubuntu 17.10
  host.
