Yes, it's a known issue. The quicklist bookmark plugin only works if the application is running. In previous versions Nautilus and nautilus- desktop were combined into a single package. But two are different processes and only nautilus-desktop is running. Dynamic quicklist can only work on Nautilus the app itself. One possible solution is to use static quicklist for bookmarks. But Unity may not use nautilus in future versions. So I am marking it as low importance.
