This issue seems to be limited to a GNOME/Wayland session. The content
window persists as expected in a GNOME/Xorg session.

Title:
Calendar Month View Appointment mouse-over context window disappears

Status in evolution package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
In the Calendar Month View of the Evolution user interface,
Appointments are drawn within the day blocks. They begin with the time
and the beginning of the Appointment Summary. When the mouse is moved
on top of the Appointment rectangle, a content window is drawn to show
additional details. However, the context window display amounts to a
flicker as it almost immediately disappears again.
