  Crash when opening TTF font

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Install `gnome-font-viewer`
  2. Download TTF font
  3a. Try to install this Symbol font 
(https://raw.githubusercontent.com/IamDH4/ttf-wps-fonts/master/symbol.ttf)

  $ gnome-font-viewer symbol.ttf

  3b. Try to open webdings.ttf font from `ttf-mscorefonts-installer`
  package (see bug 1647906 for details).

  $ gnome-font-viewer
  /usr/share/fonts/truetype/msttcorefonts/webdings.ttf

  Expected results:
  * GNOME Font Viewer opened window for font preview and installation

  Actual results:
  * GNOME Font Viewer crashed with the following output:

  (gnome-font-viewer:14847): Pango-CRITICAL **: pango_find_base_dir: assertion 
'text != NULL || length == 0' failed
  ViolaciĆ³n de segmento (`core' generado)
