"New Tab" disappeared from the GNOME Terminal menu

Status in gnome-terminal package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
There is not a "New Tab" option in the file menu of GNOME Terminal
anymore on Ubuntu Bionic. It looks like it disappeared after some
