Problem seems to have been solved in LibreOffice 6.0.1:

Change to Source/Adobe (identical glyphs) solves the problem. Also there is no problem in Fedora, which uses Source/Adobe cjk fonts. Ubuntu uses Noto, should switch to Source/Adobe. This should be easily done.
