Title:
Gnome System Monitor presents two different CPUs on a netbook with
  only one single-core CPU

Status in gnome-system-monitor package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  System:

Xubuntu 13.10, 32 bit, fully patched
Gnome System Monitor package installed: gnome-system-monitor 3.8.2.1-2
  CPU: Intel Atom N270 (Netbook)

  Issue:

The Diamondville Intel Atom N270 x86 sub-notebook processor is a
single-core CPU. The netbook has only one of these CPUs.

Yet, System Monitor > Resources Tab, under the heading "CPU History",
lists two CPUs, CPU1 and CPU2. It displays different real-time load
factors for each of these two CPUs. The associated two traces in the
graph show correspondingly different CPU behaviour.
