Public bug reported: Thunderbird maintains its own copy of the timezone data, which in Bionic has not been updated since March 2017. This has been fixed upstream starting with 52.7.
As a result events may not display at the correct time; for example, events sent with the timezone Africa/Khartoum will display offset by one hour.
