SAMBA shared network printer configured before is expected to print. 4) Instead: Nautilus shows only "Windows Network" icon and no existing network. preconfigured SAMBA printer is not available anymore. Adding printer via existing SAMBA network gives the same result: existing SAMBA network cannot be found. At the same time SAMBA printer disappeared and can't be found either. NOTE: the same thing happened when I last updated nautilus packages in Ubuntu 11.04, which is why I upgraded to 11.10, but now I'm facing the same problem. SEVERITY: this is really a problem, because I can't browse my Windows share on the office server, nor print a document on a shared printer.
