Title: firefox ignores "browser.display.background_color" Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Status in “firefox-3.0” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: To avoid the glare of a full page of white, I prefer to set browser.display.background_color" by means of "about:config". This works fine with the Mozilla package, but does not work at all with the Ubuntu package. Packages (Mozilla and Ubuntu Gutsy) are both firefox-2.0.0.11. To reproduce: goto "about:config"; set filter to "background_color"; right-click desired line and modify (I use "#DCD1BA").
