Title:
Kubuntu Thunderbird menu option "Run Filters on Folder" fails to work.

Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: thunderbird

  I'm using Thunderbird 2.0.0.16, with Kubuntu 8.04.1.

The menu option "Tools, Run Filters on Folder" doesn't work.
  It does nothing.

The folder that was highlighted when I clicked on the option was the
Inbox, and it had emails that should have been moved by the filters.
  But they were not moved.

I had to run the filters by using the "Message Filters" dialogue box,
and clicking on the button "Run Now". This button works fine. So the
Filters can work, its just the menu option that didn't work.

Also the menu option "Tools, Run Junk Mail Controls on Folder" doesn't work.
It does nothing. (I'm reporting it here in this single bug report because it
may be a related bug.)
I tried creating a folder named "Junk", (because there isn't one by default)
but this made no difference. This menu option still doesn't work.
