Title:
New version of firefox crashes upon opening

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Well, I still have the problem that when I try to install a newer version
than 28.0.xxx, Firefox never finishes loading up my windows and tabs and
crashes ==> is unusable, but this time is different from 29 and 30.
In versions 29 and 30, it opens up all my windows, is brings up some or all
of my tabs, and then disappears and the Crash Report window appears.
In 31, only one window appears, with many tabs all labelled "new", and then
just sits there.
I click on a tab, a window appears, and then the ubuntu window appears that
says the window "Mozilla Firefox" does not seem to be responding" and gives me
the option to kill the process or not.

Oh wait a minute - I tried a second time, and after the single window with
"new" tabs appears, after a bit the tabs get names, it tries to open up the
other windows and crashes to the Crash Report window, as before with 29 and 30.
[Each time with the Restore Previous Session window to start]

I'll try a third time, to see if anything different happens...

Nope, just like #2 - I do note that NOT all of the windows were opened
before FF disappears and the Crash Report window appears.

  Back to 28. Again.
