When I login at the login screen I have to wait for a second between my password and pressing enter, otherwise I just get back to the login screen. Also, I noticed when I tried changing my password in Ubuntu I needed to choose a really safe password, otherwise it wouldn't accept the changes. This is both inconsistent and unnecessary imo.
