and Thunderbird since then.

If you are, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect BUGNUMBER
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

thunderbird constantly hanging possibly due to Lightning plugin.

Bug description:
For the last couple of weeks my thunderbird install has been close to
unusable. Constant frequent hangs, blocking input 2/3rds of the time.
Which is kind of odd since there have been no updates this cycle.
However I tried with a fresh profile, and as soon as I enabled
Lightning, those hangs started again. Disabled again and things seem
to be running ok again. Normally I would just say meh, bad plugin, but
isnt lightning supposed to be officially supported plugin and why did
this only break a couple of weeks ago, when I can't see any updates to
the obvious components that might affect it.
