We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.
Presumably this problem was a one time occurrence and/or is no longer an issue? Can the bug report now be closed? If we do not hear from you the bug report will close itself in approximately 60 days time. Thank you again for helping make Ubuntu better. It was malfunctioning - browser used to freeze all of a sudden and I chose to uninstall. I had to remove that in incorrect manner and result is that now I am unable to do a good install of the latest. Additional problem: the system has problems in sound - no audio output is there and any installation fails with indication to Firefox update failing. Has become a nightmare in the recent past. Did an upgrade to 12.10 from 12.04 hoping it would solve - unfortunately it has not. Any help is appreciated. Thank you very much!
