Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: I noticed this problem immediately after updating GNOME Shell to 3.28.3 this afternoon. If I log in the super key works as normal as does "Show Applications". If I then start an application and then use the super key I cannot again use any open application. I have to close applications from the launcher. At this point I can't use "Show Applications" as the icons simply don't appear on the screen. I'm also unable to search for applications. Logging out and back in again is necessary to restore proper functionality until of course I again user the super key etc. At first I thought this was only affecting my main user but I also have two other users set up. Their profiles have not been customised. I see the same behaviour with both users. Any display of Activities or Show Applications prohibits any further use of opened programs. I've disabled all extensions and of course rebooted but the problem remains.
