** Bug watch added: Mozilla Bugzilla #432020 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432020 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1464568 Title: the master password dialog doesn't identify itself Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: When firefox prompts for the master password, a dialog appears asking for a password with text "Please enter the master password for the Software Security Device." But nowhere does it identify itself as firefox nor does it explain which profile is asking for a password. This is particularly important because firefox doesn't necessarily ask for the master password at obvious times -- sometimes several minutes after launch (with previous session's tabs opening in the background) firefox will decide it's time, and meanwhile the firefox window is hidden and I'm no longer thinking about firefox. In the event of multiple profiles, I have to guess which profile's master password is being requested.
