While it is true that nvidia dropped support for 304 ( and maybe 340) the existing level of 304 and 340 work fine, so why not include in 4.15 as is? 4.15 is a requirement for the latest Ubuntu and Linux Mint releases so this prevents otherwise good computers from upgrading. Further if I upgrade my computer to a new graphics card, how to if that card will not be obsolete next year.
