Title:
logout is forced on mouse movement (primarily using calendar)

Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: thunderbird

Thunderbird seems somewhat fragile with regard to mouse movement.
However the problem is ginormous when using the calendar app. Seems
as though even a slow rate short distance mouse movement will not just
cause the application to get blown away, but the GNOME desktop is
blown away and the user is logged out. Actually, the the application
may be just peachy as well as the desktop, but the session logout is a
small nuclear event (large nuclear event would be reboot).

A day or two ago did a system upgrade. The problem was bad before the
upgrade. The application is now unusable.

I'll send more debug info if your auto-collected info is not enough.
Please advise on what to collect and how to send.

  thanks!
  Bill Scott
