Bug description:
  Hello!

X.Org Server 1.20.1 crash when I attempt to enter special symbols like
@ > " via onscreen keyboard Onboard in Gnome Shell Xorg session. I
also noticed this with DRI3 (both of default modesetting DDX and intel
DDX) issue is more easily reproducible than with DRI2 (intel DDX).

I running Ubuntu 18.10 (latest updates) on HP Stream 7 Tablet with
Intel Atom Z3735G. There was no such issue in Ubuntu 18.04 on same
  device. Backtrace is attached.
