Hello Laksdjfaasdf, Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with cups. You made this bug report some time ago and Ubuntu has been updated since then. Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket? If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to this bug? If you are, could you let us know, and in the current version, run the following (only once): apport-collect BUGNUMBER and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

See attached syslog (Relevant information starts at line 268). I did the following steps: 1. Plugged in Laserjet 1212. 2. Printer was added automatically by Ubuntu. 3. Printing test page was not possible. Seems Laserjet 1212 ist not in list of supported printers (See attached log file). 4. Scanning with Simple Scan was not possible. 5. Removed apparmor completely. 6. Tried again printing/scanning but it did not work either. 7. Tried it with HP Toolbox but it said there must be installed a plugin. 8. Installing the needed Plugin was not possible because of problem with policykit (See attached log file): ...
