Yeah, I tried the one built from source. It looks a little different (my mouse-cursor became super small on my 4K display -- no big deal). t Ultimately, that (from-source) version too manifested the same issue. This is crazy.
You can't reproduce the issue, so there must be something wrong with the permissions/ownership on my file system or something. Maybe chromium doesn't have the proper permissions to access (or write to) some file that is needed to facilitate the tasks I'm trying to perform on the bookmarks-bar? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to chromium-browser in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1788441 Title: Chromium Freezes Upon Adding Folder to Bookmarks Bar Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: When I try to add a folder to the "Bookmarks bar" in Chromium, the application freezes and I have to close and re-open Chromium before I can begin using it again.
