Title:
sane , xsane not recognizing AIO HP Scanner

Status in hplip package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
The Ubuntu release used is 17.10. The version of package is
hplip-3.17.10. I expected the scanner to be detected after installing
the latest HP driver. After i ran hp-check, it says no scanners
  discovered.

Scanner was detected by simple scan and Xsane in 17.04. This is
happening since the Upgrade from 17.04 to 17.10. However, the Printing
functionality works just as expected in 17.10.
