Hello Leandro, Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with system-config-printer. You made this bug report some time ago and Ubuntu has been updated since then. Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the bug report? If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to this bug? If you are, could you let us know, and in the current version, run the following (only once): apport-collect BUGNUMBER and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

When I send a job, it appears in the printer-applet (the small printer on the panel). If someone from the network has sent a job, however, his/her job does not appear on the list, and my job appears as "Pending". No further information is obtained on why the job is not being printed. Of course, one can know that there are other jobs being print using "lpq" from the terminal or by seeing the localhost:631 site provided by cups. I think that the printer applet should show the same information provided by the localhost:631, otherwise one does not know the actual status of the printer unless we use these other commands which are not immediately obvious to a new user.
