This can probably be ignored for the following reasons. 1. Its not Firefox's fault that it did not leave space for this grip. Grips have been back ported to GTK2 in Ubuntu they are normally only a part of GTK3 (firefox is a gtk2 app)
2. In Firefox 12 it is planned to remove the download manager window and replace it with a panel (tab) https://wiki.mozilla.org/User:P.A./Panel- based_Download_Manager and yes it is targeted for all platforms it looks like the panel itself will be javascript based. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/730624 Title: Resize grip overlaps download-manager's search box Status in One Hundred Paper Cuts: Triaged Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Binary package hint: light-themes Firefox download manager has visual glitch in bottom right corner.
