Hey, in my case the steps to fix it were as follows: 1. Download thunderbird tar.bz2 from https://www.thunderbird.net/ 2. Extract it wherever you want 3. In extracted thunderbird folder you will find lightning xpi file compatible with TB 60.2.1: distribution/extensions/{e2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103}.xpi 4. Open your Thunderbird 60.2.1 installed from Ubuntu repo 5. Go to Addons -> Install addon from file and choose xpi file from point 3 6. Restart Thunderbird and enjoy Lightning once again :)
Hope this helps. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to thunderbird in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1797945 Title: Lightning incompatible with Thunderbird 60.2.1 Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Hi Today I got the update from Thunderbird 52 to 60.2.1.
