Title: ibus delete text on Google Docs (Firefox only) Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: Binary package hint: firefox When I use Google Docs on Firefox while ibus is running, using the word count feature in Google Docs will cause the body of text being counted to be deleted. This does not happen with Google Chrome. To produce this bug: 1) Go to Google Docs with Firefox, make sure ibus is running 2) Open a new document, type something, choose the text and press Ctrl + Shift + C to do word count 3) Press OK on the little window that appears, then the text is deleted. Then quit ibus, do the same thing, but this time the text is not deleted. Do the same thing with Google Chrome but with ibus running, the text is also not deleted. Apparently there is something going on with Firefox and Ibus ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: firefox 3.6.10+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.34-generic-pae 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic-pae i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: i386 Date: Thu Oct 14 18:49:36 2010 FirefoxPackages: firefox 3.6.10+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 firefox-gnome-support 3.6.10+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 firefox-branding 3.6.10+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 abroswer N/A abrowser-branding N/A InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release i386 (20101007) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: firefox To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/660871/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
